Durella Parts Ways With TC Records, Signs With Ikonic.Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known Durella has severed ties with his former record label TC Records and gone on to sign a fresh deal with upcoming label IKONIC Records. Durella’s three-year contract with TC Records which ended in January made the pop singer eligible to sign another deal.
IKONIC Records which is owned and headed by Bada Aderibigbe Rasak closed the deal with Durella in February 2011 by signing a four-year contract with the pop act.
Speaking on how he got the new deal with Ikonic Records, the ‘King of the Zanga’ said ‘The C.E.O of the label is my childhood friend. We met sometime after I ended my contract with TC and decided to give it a go’.
Durella who recently released the video to his first single ‘My life’ is currently working on his second album and so far has two new singles – ‘Macmaraman’ and ‘Inbox’ out.
‘I just want to move on, it’s a new me. Lyrically, I’m bringing all the bazookas, the AK-47s. And I’m willing to work with anybody, upcoming or superstar. This album is going to be hot’, Durella tells Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET).
