Tokunbo is the 21 year old son of Juju Musician Jide Chord. He started with music by going with his father to shows and performances from the age of 10, and later became a back up singer in his father’s band.

Tokunbo is a singer, songwriter and producer who is also a Theatre Arts student at the Lagos State University. His single ‘Omoge’ shows how Tokunbo may have modernized his father’s singing style of Juju. He features 2010 Peak Talent Show winner Kida Kudz on the track.
