MAYOWA :  Tell me about yourself?
D.E.X : The name is D.E.X aka DextyBaba as you all know,presently an engineering student in UNILAG. Got love for basket ball ,fashion and keeping my body tight
 MAYOWA :  D.E.X? How did you come up with that name?
D.E.X :  Actually I started off with the name "Dexterous" from the word  *Dexterity* which means being good at. A handy or crafty art and I was a deep fan of poetry which was why the name clicked but after subsequent shows and fans and Mc's wants to call up my name and its difficult for them to pronounce I decided to change it to something more simple which lead to D.E.X and it means Dopest Emcee Xtraoridinary
MAYOWA : When did you decide to start music? How long have you been into music?
D.E.X : When I was home seeking for admission? How long? Now close to 3 yrs
MAYOWA : How would you describe your kind of music?
D.E.X : I want to do all genre *cray ryt * I have been going to singing and voice training classes. God grace it would happen but for now, I do a lot of comedy,Rap,RnB and Dancehall
MAYOWA : Have you taken part in any Competition with the aim if moving a step furtherin music? If yes, tell me about it  & how the experience was like.
D.E.X : Yeah I rap battle in the whole of yaba lyk 3yrs back and I came 2nd And bunch of other competitions where I came 1st
MAYOWA : Asides music, you own a clothing line? Whats the name of  your brand?
D.E.X : DXS it is which in full means Dexterstitches
MAYOWA : How have you been able to manage being in school, doing music & owning a clothing line?
D.E.X : Trust me it aint  easy mehn even more time consuming now that am tryna lunch the brand , School is fine still got my good grades and the music is going fine.Thank God And also into modelling .lol
MAYOWA : Are you currently signed to any label or management?
D.E.X : Nah seen some but not hardworking as I want so am waiting on God to provide me a team that I would love to work with
MAYOWA : Your song “Unilag Girls” went viral, How did you feel about that?
D.E.X : Felt really cool ,I was actually expecting it to go round just Unilag but lately I have heard news about people playing it in and outside lagos which was really awesome.

MAYOWA : How do you handle  music critics?
D.E.X : Critics ...Even when I dropped my 1st single *Hustlers* I have been getting them a lot but now I know how to handle em is by taking their good and bad news and working on them .that's all
MAYOWA : What are your hobbies?
 D.E.X : Dancing,writing songs,swiming and gyming got a whole lot
MAYOWA : Do you play any instruments?
D.E.X : Yep,I mess around with the piano and I really love the guitar which am yet to know how to play
MAYOWA : Who are your musical influences?
D.E.X : A lot of artists around the world  arabian inclusive
MAYOWA : Best & worst experience so far?
D.E.X : Best:  After performing at an event then a notice like two girls runing after me was at first scared then they  tapped me and was gasping for words and they finally said " you the bomb we love you"
Worst: I forgot all my lyrics when I got on stage trynu perform live ..was really cray, But later got some back tho
MAYOWA :  How do you cope with major obstacles?
 D.E.X: Pray to God and Face them without regrets
MAYOWA : What are your short-term career goals?
D.E.X : Set to drop five singles believed to go viral all over the country titled

And Getting known for Creativity(fashion)  and positive music all around Nigeria. Dropping a mixtape titled *Money Fame and Truth * Hope it would be the best mixtape in the country
MAYOWA : Where do you see yourself in 4-5years?
D.E.X : Touring world wide and putting africa strongly in the map, My clothing line, My music career & My field (Engineering)
