[EVENT] THE FRESHMEN CONCERT & ENTREPRENEURS AWARDS – UNILAG 2013 POSTPONED.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I regret to inform the students of the prestigious University of Lagos and the general public about the postponement of the FRESHMEN CONCERT & ENTREPRENEURS AWARDS – UNILAG 2013 initially scheduled to hold tomorrow Friday, 5^th July at the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos.

I apologise for the inconveniences as I know many of you already had this day planned for the occasion but we had to postpone the event at the last minute. We never anticipated that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will commence an indefinite nationwide strike and this, as ordered by the Dean of Students Affairs, University of Lagos, has affected the concert and leaving it suspended till the strike has been called off.

So much work has been put into this project and changing of venue would be a disadvantage to us. Irrespective of that fact, we are hoping ASUU suspends the strike as soon as possible to make us carry on with our plans.

A new date would be communicated soon.
