After recently wrapping up a massive soon-to-be released collaboration with Yung6ix, British Nigerian Afro-Pop newcomer SUPAAKOS
- real name Cosmos Okey Nnotum - is proud to premiere the brand new
music video for his latest single “Steady Buga” for our viewing
pleasure, brought to you by Souf Street Sounds. Directed by the prolific Adasa Cookey for Squareball Media, who is most popular for directing for the likes of Burna Boy, D’Prince, Phenom, Reminisce and Ketchup
among others, the “Steady Buga” video was shot on location in the
vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria and brings the thumping dance floor
filler further to life with its exciting and edgy shots, capturing
Supaakos in his performance element while accentuating the bevy of
beautiful leading ladies, glorious dancers and club revellers to make
one rather excellent music video. Bringing his unique brand of AfroPop music with a continental flavour to the fore, Supaakos and hugely talented in-house Souf Street Sounds producer MKay, who has worked with Tekno, LKT and Splash
to mention a few, have crafted a massive radio-friendly dance tune
which fits in perfectly on club dance floors and house parties across
the country - with its infectiously heavy bassline, catchy melodies and
memorable chorus. Drawing inspiration from legends such as the late great Fela Anikulapo Kuti and Sade, Supaakos
hope for even an ounce of their successes and with the infectious
“Steady Buga”, he is definitely on the right track. This new music video
from Supaakos promises to be a must watch as it unveils a new Pop star…
