J. Cole Likes His Doughnuts Hot

Is a piping hot Krispy Kreme doughnut too much to ask for? J. Cole doesn't think so. When the Fayetteville, North Carolina, rapper, whose Roc Nation debut finally drops on Sept. 27, recently sat down with brothers Jeff and Eric Rosenthal to shoot an episode of  MTV's "The Check-In," that's all he wanted. Just a few original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts that were so hot and sticky they'd burn the roof of his mouth a little bit. But he didn't get that. Instead he got some room temperature doughnuts, a stirring rendition of Paula Cole's "I Don't Want to Wait" and questions about St. John's. So J. Cole responded like any levelheaded rapper would:  He smashed the doughnuts and stormed off. Frankly, we don't really blame him.
